Online Program Development Grants
CITL offers three types of Online Program Development Grants: Online Credit Program Grants, Online Non-credit Program Grants,
and Hybrid Credit Program Grants. Program Development Grants are awarded to units and ensure development support for all courses in the program.
Grants are paid to course authors (faculty or instructors) when courses are developed. Course authors receive individual grant contracts for each
course in the amounts of $1,000/credit for new development and $500/credit for course revisions. Course authors are assigned by departments. Grant
amounts for non-credit development will be determined based on the size of the development projects.
PLEASE NOTE: The process for funding the development of online programs at UWSP is currently being evaluated and updated. UWSP will continue to fund online
program development moving forward. Funding for the development of hybrid programs has not yet been determined. Please check back later for more information.
