Grants

With support from the Office of Academic Affairs, CITL is thrilled to announce two grant opportunities for faculty and instructors.

Travel Grants

CITL once again has funds available to offer grants up to $500 to support travel to teaching-related conferences and professional development opportunities for faculty and instructors. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the 2025-2026 academic year. We anticipate being able to fund 10 grants. All funds must be used in this fiscal year and must directly support activities related to improving teaching and learning at UWSP. While all eligible applications are welcome, priority may be given to those presenting the results of a Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) project.

Please Note: Requests to attend or present at events focused solely on disciplinary research will not be funded.

Interested instructors should complete the Teaching Professional Development Grant Application.

HIP Mini-Grants

To support instructors who plan to implement a high-impact practice in their course, CITL will offer HIP Mini-Grants during the 2025-2026 academic year. These grants will award up to $250 to support the implementation of a high-impact practice in a credit-bearing course at UWSP. Possible uses could include: providing an honorarium for a speaker, purchasing supplies for a project or activity, or transportation costs for off-campus class visits. We anticipate being able to make 10 awards.

If you are interested in a HIP Mini-Grant, please complete the HIP Mini-Grant Application.
