Faculty and staff can rent a credit card terminal for work related purposes through the University Information and Ticket Desk (UIT).
Guidelines:
Equipment is reserved on a first-come first-serve basis and equipment must be requested by a UWSP Faculty/Staff Member at least three days in advance of the event
The name on the reservation must reflect who will be picking up the equipment
All parts and accessories included in each equipment case will be checked at the time of pick-up and return. Please allow enough time for this when you are planning pick-up and drop-off times.
Reservations requesting more than one credit card terminal will require approval from UIT Supervisor or Student Manager.
Any staff member who uses this machine must have completed the credit card handling training offered by UWSP prior to picking up the machine.
Rental Fees:
There is a $25 charge to rent the credit card terminal.
There is a $0.10 per transaction fee
There is 4% credit card fee.
The department assumes responsibility for loss and/or damage resulting from negligence of a unit. The department will be charged to replace the broken and/or damaged unit.
A $15 per day fee will be applied for equipment not returned on-time.
All fees will be charged to the departments account number given on reservation form, contact your department to determine reimbursement options.
