Point Card New Design_Final_UWSP_Template.pngAll students, faculty, and staff on all three UW-Stevens Point campuses are required to have a PointCard.

New and transfer students attending the main campus at Stevens Point. Please submit your photo for your PointCard once you've activated your student account and registered for an orientation session or registered for classes. Follow our PointCard Photo Upload Instructions.

Students attending an orientation session should upload a photo before the orientation date. Your PointCard will then be distributed on your orientation date. Be sure to bring a government-issued picture ID (like a driver's license).

Transfer students, or those not attending an orientation session, will need to visit the PointCard office when you arrive on campus to obtain a PointCard. Be sure to bring a government-issued picture ID (like a driver's license).

The replacement fee for missing, stolen, lost or negligently damaged cards is $20*. Visit the PointCard Office to get your replacement. Please note: the $20 replacement fee will be added directly to your student bill.

*If a card is not working because of normal wear and tear or a legal name change is made with the Registrar’s office, a new card can be obtained free of charge, provided the original is returned to the PointCard Office at the time of replacement.

Proper care of your PointCard

  • Do not bend or punch holes in your card. Doing so will damage the embedded chip and antenna.

  • Protect your card! Do not scratch it, wash/dry it in laundry machines, or expose to magnets or extreme heat.
