All students, faculty, and staff on all three UW-Stevens Point campuses are required to have a PointCard.
Marshfield
New and transfer students attending UWSP at Marshfield:
You can submit your photo for your PointCard once you've activated your student account and registered for an orientation session or registered for classes. Follow our
PointCard Photo Upload Instructions.
Once you receive an email confriming that your photo has been accepted, email pco@uwsp.edu to request that your card be printed. Please include your student ID number and the branch campus that you will attend. Then you will be able to pick up your PointCard at your campus library when you arrive for the fall semester. Be sure to bring a government issued picture ID (like a driver's license). If you do not email pco@uwsp.edu your PointCard will not be printed.

Wausau

Once you have received an email confriming that your photo has been accepted, you MUST email pco@uwsp.edu to request that your card be printed. Please include your student ID number and the branch campus that you will attend. Then you will be able to pick up your PointCard at your campus library when you arrive for the fall semester. How To Obtain Your PointCard
Students attending UWSP at Wausau and UWSP at Marshfield will receive information about getting their PointCards during orientation. PointCards will be handed out on campus at your campus library.
New students that did not attend an orientation must do the following AFTER you are registered for classes:
1) Follow the instructions on the Photo Upload page. You cannot do this until the day after you have registered for classes and your account is activated.
2) Email the PointCard Office (pco@uwsp.edu) from your UWSP student email account and request that a card be made. Please include your student ID# and indicate which campus you attend. Your initial card is made at no charge.
3) Your card will be sent to your campus library. It can take up to a week to arrive. Be sure to bring a government issued picture ID when you stop in to pick up your PointCard.
PointCard Replacement
If you need to replace a lost or stolen card, visit the PointCard Office on the UWSP main campus to accomplish this, or
1) If you would like a new picture, follow the instructions on the Photo Upload page. Otherwise your old picture will be used.
2) Email the PointCard Office (pco@uwsp.edu) from your UWSP student email account and request that a new card be made. Please include your student ID# and indicate which campus you attend. A $20 replacement fee will be added to your student bill.
3) Your card will be sent to your campus library. It can take up to a week to arrive. Be sure to bring a government issued picture ID when you stop in to pick up your PointCard.
*If a card is not working due to normal wear and tear, or a legal name change is made with the Registrar's office, a new card can be obtained at no charge provided that the old card is turned in to the PointCard Office at the time of making the new card. Either visit our office on the UWSP main campus or mail the old card and a note explaining your situation to:

Proper care of your PointCard
Do not bend or punch holes in your card. Doing so will damage the embedded chip and antenna.
Protect your card! Do not scratch it, wash/dry it in laundry machines, or expose to magnets or extreme heat.
Do not share your card. You are liable for all activities authorized by your card.
