Sundays with Seniors
Would you like to make a difference in the lives of a local
senior citizen? Do you plan on working with the elderly population in your
future profession? Are you looking to gain valuable insight from members of
past generations?
Join us as we visit a local Assisted Living Facility to spend time with their residents on a Sunday afternoon. We try to visit each month during the academic year.
You will have the opportunity to chat, read, do crafts, or play BINGO with the
seniors who live there. It is almost like spending the afternoon with
your grandparents! Volunteers will meet at DUC to travel together. Transportation is provided.
