If you noticed a purple glow around campus this past week, you weren't imagining it.
The LED lighting on top of Old Main's cupola is purple this week to commemorate the Pointer men's basketball team winning the NCAA Division III national championship on March 21. That same day, the Pointer men's hockey team advanced to the Frozen Four, and the SPASH boys' basketball team earned the gold ball in the state WIAA Division I championship.
Most everyone in the Stevens Point area shares in the excitement of being part of the "city of champions" this week.
