2013-2014 Student Parking Permit Sales Begins April 30th
Parking on the UW-Stevens Point campus is by permit only except in metered areas with proper payment. Space for parking is limited and restricted and there is a charge to purchase a permit. A parking permit serves as permission to park and does not guarantee a parking space. The University assumes no responsibility for damage to a vehicle or its contents while parked on campus. No parking allowed in fire zones or parking lanes. Motorcycles only in cycle stalls April 1st - Nov 1st.
Student parking is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. All student parking lots are located on the perimiter of campus and are not close to classes or residence halls. Permits cost $94.35 with 2013-2014 permit sales and applications for enrolled students starting April 30th for the following school year. New students starting in September must attend Orientation, enroll in classes and receive login information prior to applying for a permit.
A vehicle with a current UWSP student parking permit is valid in any student parking lot.

What if I bring a different car to campus? Your parking permit is a hangtag that can be moved to another vehicle.
Are there rules & regulations I need to follow? Parking rules and regulations exist to maximize campus parking facilities, to help avoid congestion and to maintain safe driving conditions.
Are daily or weekly parking permits available? Parking Services sells $5.10 daily and $20.25 weekly permits when space is available.
I only need a parking permit for 1 semester? Yearly permits can be returned at the end of 1st semester for a 40% refund. Return your permit at the end of the 1st semester or at least by the first day of the second semester and we'll process a $37.75 refund via the same method used to purchase the permit.
If I have an injury can I get a temporary handicap permit to park closer? Parking Services staff is not medically qualified to determine handicap permit eligibility. Please check with the WI Department of Motor Vehicle website for application info:
http://www.dot.wisconsin.gov/drivers/forms/mv2933.pdf If I do not plug the meter will I receive a citation? Meter parking is conveniently located throughout campus to accommodate close proximity parking needs. NOTE:
a vehicle can be ticketed every two hours at an expired meter.
Can I park on the Stevens Point city streets? Overnight parking is not allowed on the Stevens Point city streets.
Parking for visits and View Point Days is arranged through the
