NEW Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
Policy: Certain academic issues can impact financial aid eligibility. UWSP's policy regarding SAP has changed following the spring 2013 semester. Please review the policy and contact our office with any questions.
FAFSA FILING REMINDER FOR 2014-2015
An easier way to provide tax information on your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
; with just a few simple steps, students & parents who have completed their IRS tax return will be able to view & transfer their tax information into their FAFSA mid-February, 2014.
Individuals eligible who use the IRS Data Retrieval Process, either when initially completing a FAFSA, or by using the corrections functionality of FAFSA on the web, provide the fastest, easiest, and most secure solution for satisfying some of the verification requirements should their application be selected for additional processing.
Avoid Financial Aid Scams: Never pay a fee to determine whether you are eligible for financial aid. The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is the only application form used by UWSP to determine financial aid eligibility. Likewise, reputable scholarship organizations do not charge a fee to determine your eligibility.
