College of Fine Arts & Communication Drama Degree

Major

DEFINE AND FOCUS YOUR INTEREST

The drama program allows students the opportunity to take classes in many areas of the department and pursue an education that enables them to pursue their interests as they progress through the degree. With only 44-52 credits required to earn a BA in Drama, students are able to add a second major or multiple minors. The BA in Drama is not a performance-focused degree.

WHY STUDY DRAMA AT UW-STEVENS POINT?

At UW-Stevens Point you will have opportunities each year to perform in a variety of venues including Jenkins Theatre, our black box Studio Theatre. Yearly performance opportunities include: Contemporary musical theatre productions, classical musical theatre productions, Player’s student group performances and Master Classes with visiting artists.

GET INVOLVED ON CAMPUS

Players is a UWSP student organization seeking to provide a place for students to foster their creativity in not only theatre but writing, dance, poetry, and more!
