dimensions, exercise, nutrition, weight management, stress management,
sleep, mindfulness, career satisfaction, financial wellness,
relationship health, chronic disease management, alternative treatments,
addictions and mental health. Introduction to peer-to-peer practice
coaching.
Health
and Wellness Coaching Foundations (HPW 735)
Specialized training in the application of behavior change
theories, coaching structure and process. Preparing students to support
individuals and groups to create and sustain health behavior change.
Best practices in coaching concepts, techniques, and practical
applications will be covered and demonstrated. Skill development is

Advanced Health
and Wellness Coaching Techniques (HPW 765)
Health
and Wellness Coaching Ethics and Practicum (HPW 775)
Supervised, pre-professional practice
experience in health and wellness coaching. Provides specialized
training, skill development and guidance, preparing students to enter
the market and succeed. Intensive preparation on professional standards,
ethics, assessment of clinical issues, use of digital tools, and
referral strategies.
Continued skill development is practiced through a peer-to-peer format.
