Heather Molenda-Figueira

BIO

Following her postdoctoral fellowship at Michigan State University, Heather Molenda-Figueira joined the Department of Psychology in 2011. Professor Molenda-Figueira teaches Animal Behavior, Research Methods in Psychology, Physiological Psychology, and Psychology of Sexual Behavior. She collaborates with undergraduates in helping them to develop a number of research skills including animal surgeries, behavior testing and analysis, neuroanatomy, histology and scientific manuscript preparation. Her main area of research focuses on how endocrine-disrupting chemicals affect the brain and behavior.
