A need to fill a number of administrative positions has allowed the Boys & Girls Club of Portage County to utilize its connections with the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and promote from within to bring in a younger staff to work with local children this year.
“I think the change has been positive,” said Kevin Quevillon, executive director of the Boys & Girls Club. “There’s always a transition period when you bring in new people, but it allows us to recruit new talent with fresh ideas and new skills.”
