Alexander Landerman finally decided to make art his business in November 2011.
The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point student had his first solo art display, Fauna, at the Scarabocchio Art Museum. The display was a series of charcoal drawings focused on emotion, with drawings of people, animals and even hands showing the subjects’ different feelings.
At the time, Landerman was considering attending graduate school and possibility becoming a teacher. Following the show, he began thinking of taking a different route.
