UW-Stevens Point faculty featured in Fish Creek exhibition
Two members of the Art and Design Department at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point will be featured in an art exhibition in Door County this fall.
Keven Brunett and Kristin Thielking are among the artists in “All Fired Up: Contemporary Iron Sculpture” at the Peninsula School of Art, located at 3900 County Road F, Fish Creek. The show will open Saturday, Oct. 1, with a reception from 5–7 p.m. The exhibition runs through Saturday, Nov. 5, and is free and open to the public.
Brunett, who joined the UW-Stevens Point faculty in 2005, teaches 2D and 3D design foundation courses as well as special topics courses for the Department of Art & Design and the Division of Interior Architecture. Thielking has taught sculpture classes since 2001. As a husband and wife team, they work collaboratively on many projects and have had works exhibited as well as commissioned both regionally and nationally.
