UW-Marathon County, located in Wausau and founded in 1933, is now the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point at Wausau. UW-Marshfield/Wood County, founded in 1964, is the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point at Marshfield.

Walleyes for Tomorrow, Inc., of Fond du Lac, Wis., created the fund with a gift of $200,000 to UWSP Foundation to support faculty-mentored undergraduate research fellowships in fisheries in the College of Natural Resources.
