Berards make major commitment to first-generation students
The Bob and Mary Berard Gateway to Discovery Scholarship Endowment will allow UW-Stevens Point to annually award 10 first-year, first-generation students of academic promise with a $2,000 scholarship, beginning in fall 2018.

Computer information systems student wins national research fellowship
Brian Hall has the rare distinction of receiving a fellowship for doctoral studies as an undergraduate. The fellowship provides $138,000, or three years of support, for a graduate program anywhere in the nation.
