"All My Sons" will be staged at UWSP at Marshfield April 11-14.

A student and community cast will present American playwright Arthur Miller's classic drama "All My Sons" April 11-14 at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point at Marshfield.

The show will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, April 11-13, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 14, at the Helen Connor Laird Theater, 2000, W. 5th St., Marshfield. Students from both the Marshfield and Stevens Point campuses, as well as several community members, will be directed by Brad Schmicker, associate lecturer in theatre arts.

A historical drama based on a true story, "All My Sons" debuted on Broadway in 1947 and is currently staging a Broadway revival with a cast that includes Annette Benning. The play was also adapted for films in 1948 and 1987. The story transports audiences back to the years following World War II, as the Keller family hopes for the return of their soldier son, Larry. Amidst accusations of war crimes and the impending reality that Larry will never return, the Kellers confront a host of family secrets.

Tickets are $12 for general admission and are free for all UW-Stevens Point students with valid student I.D. Buy tickets online through Purple Pass, www.purplepass.com#183554, at the Marshfield campus box office before the show or by calling 715-389-6534.
