Snowshoe along trails lit by a full moon and candlelight next month at Treehaven, a field station of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point near Tomahawk.
The Spring Forward Luminary Snowshoe Hike will be offered at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 7, the night before daylight savings time begins. Families will snowshoe along a half-mile lit trail, then warm up with a fire, hot cocoa and homemade treats.
Registration is required by Thursday, March 5. The cost is $5 with your own snowshoes or $10 to rent snowshoes for ages 10+ on-site.
