Youth entertainer Tom Pease will share his love of the environment in a free concert at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point's Schmeeckle Reserve next month.

Held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at the campfire ring near the reserve's Visitor Center, the concert is sponsored by Friends of Schmeeckle Reserve. S'mores around the campfire will follow. It is open to the public free of charge.

Pease uses witty songs and audience participation to share his love of nature. An Amherst resident, he has been performing since 1982 and travels nationwide with more than 200 programs a year.
