Adult aquatic classes available

There are still openings for the second session of aquatic classes for adults offered by the Special Needs Aquatic Program at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
The classes are designed for adults with arthritis, older adults looking for a low-impact workout or adults with special needs. Session two will be held Oct. 29–Dec. 20. The session includes 15 classes and costs $45.
The 45-minute classes are held twice a week on Monday and Thursday in the therapeutic pool in the UW-Stevens Point Health Enhancement Center, located adjacent to the Quandt Fieldhouse at 2050 Fourth Ave. The Basic Aquatic Exercise class begins at 8:45 a.m. The Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program classes are held at 10 a.m., 11:15 a.m. or 4:30 p.m.
