Aquatic classes for adults offered this fall

Aquatic classes designed for adults with arthritis, older adults looking for a low-impact workout or adults with special needs will be offered this fall by the Special Needs Aquatic Program at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Space is still available for session two, Oct. 31–Dec. 22. Cost is $41 for 14 classes.

The 45-minute classes are held twice a week on Monday and Thursday in the therapeutic pool in the UW-Stevens Point Health Enhancement Center, located adjacent to the Quandt Fieldhouse, at 2050 Fourth Ave. The Basic Aquatic Exercise class begins at 8:45 a.m. The Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program classes are held at 10 a.m., 11:15 a.m. and 4 or 5 p.m.
