A community open forum on proposed cuts to the University of Wisconsin System will be offered at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point on Thursday, Feb. 19. It is sponsored by the Student Government Association and hosted by State Rep. Katrina Shankland (D-Stevens Point).

The forum will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday in the Noel Fine Arts Center Room 221. Shankland will field questions, comments and concerns from students and members of the community.

The Student Government Association is also hosting three student forums to provide non-partisan information. A panel of students will address questions and concerns. The first is Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 6 p.m. in the Dreyfus University Center Laird Room. Others are Monday, Feb. 16, at 4 p.m. in the Laird Room; and Monday, Feb. 23, at 6 p.m. in the Dreyfus University Center Theater.
