A panel
discussion on the significance of a recent papal letter about climate change
will be held at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Wednesday, March 2.
Held at
7 p.m. in the Encore Room of the Dreyfus University Center, the event is a
free, public conversation about “Laudato Si: On Care for Our Common Home” by
Pope Francis. This second papal letter addresses climate change, consumerism,
development and other environmental topics.
Panelists
will include scholars from different disciplines and representatives of local
religious communities, including:
