‘Celebracion Hispana’ set for Saturday
The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point offers an evening of Latin American food and music on Saturday, March 10.
“Celebracion Hispana” will be held in the Alumni Room of the Dreyfus University Center, 1015 Reserve St., beginning at 5 p.m. with dinner, followed by a keynote address by Anju Reejhsinghani, assistant professor of history at UW-Stevens Point. Entertainment will be provided by the Sabor Latino band.
Sponsored by the Latino Student Alliance at UW-Stevens Point, admission is $8 for adults, $6 for UW-Stevens Point students and free for children under 12. Tickets are available at the University Information and Tickets Office in the Dreyfus University Center, 715-346-4100.
