Works of art as varied and dynamic as the contributors
will be exhibited as part of the Art and Design Department Faculty and Staff
Exhibition at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point’s Carlsten Gallery.
The exhibit opens Sunday, March 13, and continues
through Sunday, April 10. A reception will be held at the gallery from 4-6 p.m.
Monday, March 14. The Carlsten Gallery is located on
the second floor of the Noel Fine Arts Center on the UW-Stevens Point campus.
Artwork will include books,
ceramics, graphic designs, paintings, photographs, prints and sculptures.
“Faculty and staff at
UW-Stevens Point are not only dedicated educators but are also working artists
who display work in solo and group exhibitions around the world,” said Leslie
Walfish, gallery curator. “This exhibition reflects the individual interests
and skill of the diverse faculty who inspire and teach future artists.”
Free and open to the public, the Carlsten Gallery is open
Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Thursday evenings from 7–9
