A night of creativity in the visual arts, design, dance and theater is coming to the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in February.

Arts Bash 2017, "Bring Back the Bash," will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, at the UW-Stevens Point Noel Fine Arts Center, 1800 Portage Street. The event will include student theater and dance performances, an art sale, silent auction on wearable art, a "blood, guts and gore" makeup demonstration, food and beverage samples from local establishments and cash bar. Attendees are encouraged to wear creative attire or wearable art. Those who purchase wearable art may join in a runway show at the end of the night.

New this year is a Preview Party, held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Feb. 4. Limited to 80 guests, this preview includes a private reception with a signature cocktail from Great Northern Distilling of Plover, food, live music and a special gift. Attendees will also have the first look and opportunity to purchase artwork and a chance to bid on art made by alumni in a silent auction available only during the preview. A special student performance will be offered exclusively for these guests.

Arts Bash 2017 tickets are $50 in advance or $75 at the door for the public and $35 for UW-Stevens Point students, faculty and staff with university I.D. Preview Party tickets are $95 and include all preview and Arts Bash events. Buy tickets at the UW-Stevens Point Information and Tickets Office, 715-346-4100 or choose "Campus Events" at http://tickets.uwsp.edu.

The primary fundraiser for the Departments of Theatre and Dance and Art and Design, Arts Bash has raised nearly $300,000 for student scholarships and programs since its inception in 2003.
