“This year, we’re really excited to have concerts at the theater @1800. It is such a wonderful performance space and we are grateful to Sentry for making this venue available to us,” said Pat D’Ercole, Aber Suzuki Center director.

“We are also looking forward to two special opportunities for teachers,” added D’Ercole, “the first being a cross-instrument symposium where Suzuki teachers will design their ideal curriculum for Suzuki parent education. The second is a webinar with internationally acclaimed speaker and researcher in music and psychology, Robert Duke, who will be presenting principles in developing independence in students.”

The UW-Stevens Point Aber Suzuki Center sponsors the ASI, which brings more than 2,500 students, instructors and family members to Stevens Point. The institute was the first Suzuki summer music program established outside of Japan.
