Learn piano quickly and simply through UW-Stevens Point
Learn to play the piano quickly and simply with two workshops offered on Saturday, Feb. 25, through the Continuing Education program at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
“Instant Piano for Hopelessly Busy People” will be offered from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. In this short course, participants will learn all the chords needed to play any pop song in any style and any key.
“How to Play Music by Ear” will be offered from 1:30 to 5 p.m. This course is the ideal follow-up to “Instant Piano for Hopelessly Busy People” and is open to anyone with basic understanding of chords on any instrument.
The classes cost $79 each, which includes a book and CD. Both will be taught by Linda Medsker, who has 25 years’ experience teaching piano. She is an active member of the Wisconsin Music Teachers Association and the former president of the Oshkosh Area Music Teachers Association.
