Life drawing class and a clutter control workshop offered at UW-Stevens Point

A class in life drawing and a workshop to learn how to reduce clutter and create peaceful spaces in your home will be offered through the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Continuing Education program this spring.

“Life Drawing” will be held April 18 through May 9 on Wednesdays from 6-8 p.m. Participants will learn drawing techniques including body proportions and form, spatial and dimensional measuring and general components. Beginning and experienced artists, ages 18 and older, may attend, as a male model will be nude. A sketch pad and drawing supplies, including pencil, charcoal, conte crayons, pastels or watercolor pencils, should be brought to class. Instructor Ellen Larson is an art student at UW-Stevens Point. The cost is $59.

“Clutter Control,” a workshop to help participants reduce stress and chaos in the home by letting go of what they no longer need, will be held Saturday, May 5, from 9 a.m. to noon. Instructor Eileen Kelz, a master teacher of Interior Alignment™, has been teaching clutter control for over a decade through community-based programs, colleges and conferences. The class is for ages 14 to adult and is $39.
