Points of Pride
- U.S. News and World Report 2021 rankings place UW-Stevens Point 14th among regional public universities in the 12 states of its Midwest region. The university was recognized for solid reputation among peer institutions, low student-to-faculty ratio and retention of first-year students.
- The city of Stevens Point was recognized by Wallet Hub's "Best College Towns and Cities in America," ranking fifth out of 415 cities across the nation.
- The education program at UW-Stevens Point has ranked second in the nation according to Study.com, for the second year in a row.
- UW-Stevens Point is the only university in the state to have all of its fine arts programs (art, dance, music and theatre) nationally accredited.
- UW-Stevens Point was the first university in the state to have 100 percent of its electricity come from renewable sources.
- Viqtory Media has named UW-Stevens Point a Military Friendly School for the last ten consecutive years.
- UW-Stevens Point is the first public university in the state to offer women's wrestling as a varsity sport.

- 1750 registered participants in the open swim program, 16 hours of swimming each week

- 164 Group Exercise classes taught for 498 unique participants; each attended an average of three classes.
- 378 unique participants played 419 games during three blocks of play in Intramurals
- 799 unique participants attended open gym during the spring and fall, playing basketball, volleyball and using the track in the Multi-Activity Center
Study Abroad

Economic Impact
According to a June 2019 study by NorthStar Consulting, UW-Stevens Point campuses generate:
- $671.3 million in total economic impact annually to Wisconsin's economy
- $40.9 million in state and local tax revenue generated annually
- For every $1 of state tax investment in UW-Stevens Point, there is $18.28 in economic activity in the state.
