This follows up on an email sent on October 12, 2020, to document your plans from Thanksgiving break through the end of the semester. The information has been updated regarding housing and dining since then. Students who choose to go home/elsewhere will receive the below refund/credit amount based on their current fall 2020 room assignment and dining meal plan, providing they have vacated their room by 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25.
We need your final plans for the end of the fall 2020 semester as soon as possible. You MUST submit your FINAL plans in your UWSP Housing Portal by 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, November 11. Failure to provide your plans by this date will result in NO refund.
To enter your plan, log into the UWSP Housing Portal and select the "Interim/Break Housing" process and select to submit your "End of Semester (Fall 2020) Plans".
Students who VACATE their rooms by 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25, and do not return for the remainder of the fall semester:
- You do not need to move out belongings unless you are not coming back to UW-Stevens Point for the spring semester; however, you will need to turn in their key and Saflok (Instructions on that process will be coming).
- You will be eligible for housing and dining refunds as detailed below, based on your current housing assignment and chosen meal plan, or remaining meal plan balance, whichever is less.
- All refunds will be credited to your fall 2020 university bill. If you have an outstanding balance on your account, your refund will be credited to pay/lower your outstanding bill. If your student bill is paid in full, your refund will be processed by Student Financial Services.

Students who CHOOSE TO STAY on campus at any point (even for one day) after 6 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, or do not vacate by 6 p.m. Wednesday, November 25:
- will NOT receive a housing refund of any monetary amount.
- Will continue to have an active meal plan through lunch on December 18, 2020. Dining operations will be limited, and location operating hours will be based on the number of students choosing to remain on campus. After December 18, 2020, up to $200 Dawg Dollars will rollover with a purchase of an active meal plan in the spring 2021 semester.
