NEW EMPLOYEES
Welcome to UW-Stevens Point! Space for parking is limited and because of that, parking is restricted all year long. All who wish to park in campus lots, including students, faculty/staff, and guests, must pay for parking. Employees bringing a vehicle are eligible to purchase a permit which will be assigned to a specific lot. Please go to the Permits tab under Faculty/Staff to learn more about the permit process.
To help you get settled in as a new employee, we are happy to provide you with free parking in a designated lot for your first couple of days until you can purchase your permit. Kindly send an email to parking.services.office@uwsp.edu and give us a few details so we can make sure you are in the Parking System and ready to go. Include your:
- Full Name
- Employment start date
- Your campus building
- Your vehicle license plate number and description
There are also meters located around campus if you prefer not to purchase a permit. Please go to the Visitors tab to learn more about meter parking on/around campus.
Temporary Drop-off or Pick-up: Drivers needing to drop off or pick up items will have the option to park in any regular stall (not handicap/reserved/meter) for up to 30 minutes with their flashers on. If vehicle goes beyond the 30 minute limit, parking guidelines apply and a citation may be issued.
