Since taking office, Mayor Wiza has made public participation a priority. His administration has seen the creation of a City radio station, mobile app and expanded website. Stevens Point has recently received several recognitions for their accomplishments, being named one of the best small cities in America
Leo Angel Rivera-Pacheco

I’m Leo Angel Rivera-Pacheco, I was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Currently a senior majoring in Political Science with a minor in Media Studies. I strove become President in order to be able to open opportunity for my fellow students. My entire time in SGA I have worked to advocate and inform students through lobbying days, GOTV initiatives, and passing legislation that impacts the student experience. These experiences are ones I think every member of SGA should have the opportunity to experience to become better student representatives. So as President it’s important to keep creating these experiences through opportunities for student organizations and raising campus engagement to become better advocates for the student body.
