The Biomedical Writing Minor is designed for students in good academic standing who already have a major or minor in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Physics, Clinical Laboratory Science, or any other health-related majors or minors.
The Biomedical Writing Minor will help you acquire:
- Proficiency in the technical skill of biomedical writing
- Knowledge about contemporary approaches to and issues in biomedical communication
- Knowledge about the history and culture of both biomedical research and patient care
- An understanding of the social and environmental contexts within which epidemiological phenomena manifest themselves
Consists of 23-24 credits plus a 1-3 credit recommended internship.
