UWSP Policies
UWSP students are expected to abide by all university rules and regulations.  UWSP Chapter 17 governs off campus behavior.  Stevens Point Police Department (SPPD) and UWSP hold students accountable for off campus behavior when it is of significant impact to the community or to individual safety.
 
If you receive notice regarding a potential violation of policy you will be asked to meet with a conduct officer from the Office of the Dean of Students.  The conduct process seeks to understand what occurred, seek to repair relationships between the student and community, and to provide the student with the appropriate resources.  

Retaliation
Under no circumstances is retaliation towards another UWSP student, a neighbor, or community member tolerated.  The UWSP and Stevens Point community is built on relationships of mutual trust and understanding. 

Should you have a conflict with a neighbor it is encouraged that you contact them directly and work through it in a positive manner.  If you need assistance in how to start that conversation please contact The City of Stevens Point Neighborhood Improvement.  Any student found engaging in retaliatory behavior will be held accountable through the student conduct process.
