& Juliet

& Juliet flips the script on the greatest love story ever told, imagining what would happen next if Juliet hadn't ended it all over Romeo, and got a second chance at life and love – on her terms. Juliet's new story bursts to life through a playlist of pop anthems as iconic as her name, all written by Max Martin and his collaborators, including "Since U Been Gone," "Roar," "Baby One More Time," "Larger Than Life," "That's The Way It Is," "Can't Stop the Feeling," and many more.

New York, New York

It is 1946, the war is over, and a resurgent New York is beginning to rebuild. As steel beams swing overhead, a collection of artists has dreams as big and diverse as the city itself. But do these singers, dancers, musicians and makers have what it takes to survive this place, let alone to succeed? If they can make it there, they can make it anywhere.

New York, New York

Sweeney Todd

Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler’s landmark musical tells the tale of a resourceful pie shop owner and a vengeful barber out for blood. After he’s sent away by a corrupt judge, Sweeney returns to London years later seeking his long-lost family, and forms an unlikely partnership with Mrs. Lovett, who serves up pies underneath his former shop. Together, they wreak havoc on Fleet Street and serve up the hottest – and most unsettling – pies in London.

A Beautiful Noise

With his first break into songwriting in the 1960s and his meteoric rise in the 1970s, and plenty of crushing disappointments and heart-stopping triumphs along the way, Neil Diamond has maintained an almost unthinkable level of superstardom for five straight decades. How did a poor Jewish kid from Brooklyn become one of the most universally adored showmen of all time? There’s only one way to tell it: a musical set to his era-defining smash hits that entranced the world.

Anne Rogalski

Anne Rogalski, UWSP CE Associate Director, has hosted several trips for Continuing Education, including New York, New Orleans, Kentucky, and Savannah. In other positions, she has led trips to Europe for groups in size from 22 to 81 participants. When not working, Anne can be found hiking with her husband; in October of 2022 she became an official Thousand Miler after completing the Ice Age Trail.

Jennifer Hess

Jennifer Hess, travel enthusiast and Associate Director at UWSP Continuing Education, has led group travel in New York City since 2013. Some of her favorite NYC activities include watching Broadway shows, walking the High Line, visiting unique restaurants, exploring lesser-known museums like the Tenement Museum and Spy Museum, visiting Central Park, and photographing the city from the Brooklyn Bridge. Most of all she enjoys discovering the unexpected, a Chinatown park twinkling with lights in the evening, a lunchtime samba concert in the park, or walking into a show along side a celebrity such as Michael J. Fox.

For questions about this tour, email Anne Rogalski or call our Customer Service office at 715-346-3838.

Important Notes

  • Traveling within New York City requires frequent walking and stairs. Please be prepared to walk up to one mile at a time. Walking several miles in a day is common but can be avoided via subways and taxis. Broadway theaters and New York subways often require some steep stairs. Most of the shows are approximately five blocks from our hotel.
  • Travelers under age 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
  • These trips frequently fill quickly, sometimes in less than 24-hours. We encourage you to act quickly to reserve your place.
  • UWSP Continuing Education does not provide travel insurance, medical, or emergency evacuation and thus you are 100% responsible for these expenses. We strongly advise you purchase travel insurance as soon as possible after registering for a trip because some insurance providers only guarantee certain benefits within a short time after you make a travel deposit. We also advise carrying health insurance while on any tour as well.
  • Travelers may want to consider short-term traveler's insurance that covers baggage, accident/life, trip interruption, trip cancellation, and more. Visit Travel Insurance Review to answer any of your travel insurance questions, get tips, and advice, or compare different providers.

Cancellation Policy

Since UWSP makes financial commitments in advance, no refunds will be issued for cancellations less than 90 days prior to the trip. Cancellations received more than 90 days before the trip will receive a full refund minus $450. However, a substitute traveler is an option. Please email UWSP at uwspceweb@uwsp.edu with information on a cancellation or substitution.
