Details

Housing is the most foundational social driver of health, and access to housing falls in the base of Maslow's hierarchy of needs. We know that housing is fundamental to functioning of other pieces of a person's life, and yet is often not prioritized in policy or practice. This session will explore the Housing First model, an evidence-based model for ensuring housing stability for all. We will also discuss the social and political factors that deprioritize housing, and what you can do to change that.
