Continuing Education and Outreach

Greetings Theater Lovers! Welcome to the December 18, 2021, trip to see the Tony Award winning musical "Hadestown" at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center! We are happy you are joining us for this entertaining theatrical experience. Performance starts at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 18, 2021. The seats are in rows D, E, and F of the Rear Dress Circle (first balcony level). This show has a run time of 2 hours, 30 minutes including one intermission. After the show, we will have dinner at Pullmans At Trolley Square. Choice of entrees is listed below. Selection to be made at time of registration.

Wausau Participants

Bus Loading Location: UWSP at Wausau, 518 S 7th Ave. (Free parking is available in lot G, on nearby streets and also in Marathon Park.)

Stevens Point Participants

Bus Loading Location: Parking lot in front of Dunhams, corner closest to intersection (HWY 10, Stevens Point)

Marshfield Participants

COVID-19: COVID-19 related health protocols may be in effect at the time of performance, including, without limitation, required: mask or face coverings, temperature checks, testing, confirmation of prior travel to restricted areas and/or confirmation of no known symptoms of and exposure to COVID-19. We reserve the right to unilaterally make changes to health protocols according to updated public health guidance and law. Any ticket holder who does not comply with any COVID-19 related health protocol may be required to leave the theater, and his/her ticket will not be refunded. 

Bag Policy: Bags/purses with dimensions of 8.5x11x5 or smaller allowed but may be subject to search, childcare products (diaper bag, bottles, cups, snacks) (patrons must be accompanied by a child)-subject to search, and prescription medicines and devices allowed-but may be subject to search.  For additional information on the bag policy, visit the Bag Policy page.

Carry-Ins: Food and beverages (i.e., soda, water bottles, snacks, drinks) are prohibited.

Select one of the following four entrees (each meal includes side salad, desert, and non-alcoholic beverage):

• Bruschetta Chicken: Chicken, melted provolone cheese, house bruschetta mix, basil, and balsamic glaze
  
• Tuscan Shrimp: Sautéed shrimp, mushroom, spinach, asparagus, onion, and sun-dried tomatoes; tossed with penne noodles in a garlic cream sauce
  
• Salmon: 8 oz. salmon filet with white wine dill sauce, blackened or Thai ginger glazed
  
• Wild Mushroom Ravioli: Crimini and Portobello stuffed ravioli, sautéed mushrooms and onions, sun-dried tomatoes, and asparagus; topped with a garlic and herb cream sauce
  
  

Since we make financial commitments in advance, no refunds will be issued for cancellations. However, you may send a substitute in your place. Please email us at uwspcelife@uwsp.edu to inform us of the substitution.
