Are you a healthcare professional looking to reduce burnout, improve patient outcomes, and make more meaningful use of your time and energy?

Dive Into a Coach Approach® 1.0 | Core Fundamentals is a fully asynchronous, 12-hour micro-credentialed course designed specifically for healthcare providers. You’ll learn how to integrate coaching techniques into your practice—without needing full coaching certification—to support behavior change, client autonomy, and deeper therapeutic relationships.

Recognized by global organizations and accredited for 12 CCEs by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), this self-paced course equips you with practical, evidence-based tools you can apply immediately across a wide range of clinical settings—from pediatrics to acute care, rehabilitation to leadership.

Explore 8 focused modules:

  • 1. Coaching Fundamentals in Healthcare
Discover what coaching is (and isn’t) and how it can complement clinical practice by supporting motivation, self-management, and behavior change.

  • 2. Building Clarity: Defining the Coaching Process
Learn how to clearly explain the Coach Approach to clients and co-create a contract that sets a focused, collaborative tone.

  • 3. Listening & Mindset: Applying the Foundations
Strengthen your listening skills and adopt the key coaching mindsets—Amateur and Discoverer—to deepen your client presence.

  • 4. Diving Deeper: Understanding the Client’s Perspective

  • 5. Exploration in Action: Guiding Clients Toward Solutions
Support clients in discovering their own answers using the DIVE IN Goals™ framework and other behavior change tools.

  • 6. Summing Up & Taking Action

  • 7. Bringing It All Together: Coaching Framework and Application
Observe real coaching demonstrations and plan how to apply the model in your own practice using the full DIVE IN framework.
