Description:50 Favorites - 5 Another popular offshoot from the basic BULLSEYE pattern is BULLSEYE WITH FLEUR-DE-LYS. Lura Woodside Watkins praised its “excellent and brilliant quality” and called it “one of the most beautiful designs in all pressed glass,” (The Union Glass Company, Antiques, November 1936). In the article, she illustrated a plaster pattern for a dish mold taken from the old Somerville, Massachusetts factory building and referred to the production in Somerville of many other tableware forms. She also owned a BULLSEYE WITH FLEUR-DE-LYS lamp mold that presumable came from the same building before its demolition in 1934.
