In this seminar, we will explore the event that led up to the Clean Air Act, as well as the impact it has had on air quality across the country and in Wisconsin.



Gail Good has over 20 years of air quality experience and has served as the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Air Management Program Director for the last eight years.

Gail is an active member of the federal Clean Air Act Advisory Committee, providing environmental regulation recommendations to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). She was recently appointed to serve as a member of the EPA U.S. Governmental Advisory Committee to the United States Representative to the North American Commission for Environmental Cooperation. Gail is also an active member of the National Association of Clean Air Agencies (NACAA), having been in various committee roles, currently serving as the Criteria Pollutants Committee co-chair.

Gail has a degree in Earth Science (Meteorology) from Central Michigan University. She also has master's degrees in Atmospheric Science and in Air Resources Management from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.​​
