The Fall Teaching Extravaganza event was held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. The session provided a good framing of the incoming freshman class and how their success at college may be impacted because they started high school during a pandemic. Facilitators and participants discussed current challenges – student behavior, mental health, artificial intelligence, and civil discourse related to the upcoming election. The afternoon closed with a scope of practice activity to assist instructors in setting boundaries to benefit themselves and their students.
