Mandatory Training
​Employees who may have access to cardholder data must be trained upon hire and be recertified annually.  Even if an employee is not designated to handle cardholder data, there might be a situation where they are exposed to it and should undergo training as a precautionary measure.  A record of completion must be retained for documentation and record retention purposes.
