Tuition Notes

Tuition is set by the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents. Segregated fees are recommended by each local student body, reviewed by the Chancellor and approved by the Board of Regents.

All tuition and fees are payable at the time of registration. Students must either pay in full by the due date or enter into a credit agreement.

Full-Time Status

At UW Colleges, a student is considered a full-time student if their credit load in fall or spring is between 12 and 18 credits. For all credits over 18 the per credit rate applies. A student is considered to be a full-time student in summer term if their credit load is between 6 and 9 credits. For all credits over 9, the per credit rate applies. In addition to the above standard tuition and fees, freshmen are required to pay the new student ($125) and placement test ($35) fees. New student and placement test fees are non-refundable.

Transfer Students

Transfer fees for new students are $125. The new student transfer fee is non-refundable.
