As an interior architecture student at
UW-Stevens Point, you will engage in an exciting, yet extensive,
professional training, designing an array of interior spaces ranging
from residential homes to corporate office to multiuse spaces such as a
senior living facility. In addition, this four-year curriculum is
carefully formulated to teach you design history, design communication
and drawing, socio-cultural aspects of design, technology and
sustainable design.
Progress toward your degree is monitored through a professional
sequence portfolio review. The senior portfolio, which is completed just
before graduation, prepares you to present your best work to
prospective employers, faculty, students, family and friends.
The UW-Stevens Point interior architecture program is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) and the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).
