Antigen Testing
Antigen testing will be available for all students. If a student is living on campus and has not submitted proof of vaccination, they must get tested bi-weekly.
- Students should schedule their tests at http://covidappt.uwsp.edu/point
- Students will need to bring their UWSP student ID as verification, on the day of testing
- After students are tested, they will be asked to wait for results (results will be shared privately)
- Students should allow about 30 minutes for each test
- Students who have tested positive for Covid-19 should submit their test results to hlthsv@uwsp.edu
- If you are symptomatic, please call Student Health Service at 715-346-4646 to be tested
- DO NOT go to the antigen testing site

Capacity Limits
Modified capacity limits must be followed in all individual rooms/suites spaces. The maximum capacity of a traditional residence hall room occupancy is four (4), and Suites@201 has a maximum capacity of eight (8) people per suite. Any additional people beyond the assigned occupants in a residence hall room/suite must be agreed upon by all roommates/suitemates prior to entry. Guests must abide by the face-covering policy.
Daily Symptom Screening
Students are expected to complete the online system screening daily, located on the COVID banner of the UWSP homepage. Students should contact Student Health Service and alert residence hall staff via email or phone call if they are displaying any COVID-19 symptoms.
Drinking Fountains
Fountains will be closed for community use while bottle-filling stations remain open.
Elevators
Elevators will be available for use. Only one occupant will be allowed in an elevator at a time. Exceptions will be made for members of a family during move-in and if occupants are assigned, roommates.
Face Coverings
Face coverings that cover the mouth and nose are required in all public spaces. Face coverings are required when a student leave their individual residence hall room/suite. Any guests to a student room/suite should wear a face covering.
Front Desk Hours
Front desk hours will occur daily from weekdays, 8 a.m.– 8 p.m., and weekends, 10 a.m. - 8 p.m., during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Quantine/Isolation Spaces
If you are named a close contact, waiting for COVID-19 test results, or have tested positive, you will be instructed to isolate. You will be provided with options regarding isolation. UW-Stevens Point has identified isolation space(s) on campus that may be used in this situation. The placement of an individual will be determined based on the specifics of their situation.
Kitchens
Community/floor kitchen use will be available. Any use of the kitchen appliances and surfaces will require students to wipe down the unit before and after use with the provided cleaning equipment, in addition to the daily cleaning.
Lockouts
Lockouts will continue to be done at the front desk during regularly scheduled desk hours. Students will need to find a Resident Assistant (via duty phone or by knocking) outside of desk hours.
Lounge Rooms and Common Areas
Residents may utilize shared spaces and are encouraged to practice physical distancing and must adhere to the mask mandate. Non-resident programs and meetings are not available at this time. Students are responsible for cleaning these spaces after use.
Music Room and Game Kitchens
Music room and game kitchens no longer require a key to be checked out from the front desk. Residents may utilize these spaces by accessing them with their personal Saflok. Students are responsible for cleaning these spaces after use.
Physical Hygiene
Students will be expected to maintain a basic level of cleanliness in their resident rooms. Proper and frequent handwashing is expected. Sanitizing stations will be placed at various entry and exit locations and students are expected to use the sanitizer when they enter and exit a building.
