Trio Canna
Trio Canna brings
delightful music to life!

Trio Canna was formed in 2002 as the resident faculty reed trio at the
University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. The trio travels to schools throughout
the midwest giving concerts, lecture/demonstrations and master classes. The
members of Trio Canna include Stacey Berk, oboe; Dr. Andrea Splittberger-Rosen,
clarinet; and Dr. Patricia Holland, bassoon. These expert teachers have a wealth
of performing experience.

Prof. Stacey Berk (oboe) was awarded the 2009 UWSP
Excellence in Teaching Award. She performs as principal oboist with the Central
Wisconsin Symphony and she plays in many concerts and recitals throughout the
year. She is also an active composer and has written many works for double
reeds.
Dr. Andrea Splittberger-Rosen (clarinet) is an
experienced teacher of clarinetists of all ages and levels. She has been
Artist/Teacher of Clarinet at UWSP since 1984 and holds degrees from Eastman
School of Music and Michigan State University. She performs regularly as a solo
and chamber music recitalist playing an array of clarinets, including a 6-key
Classical Period replica.
Dr. Patricia Holland (bassoon) performs as principal
bassoonist with the Fox Valley Symphony Orchestra and with various summer music
festivals. She has contributed many concerto performances and has given recitals
and master classes throughout the U.S. In addition to teaching, Dr. Holland
currently serves as Chair of the UWSP Department of Music.
