Rancher … I still have photos of my TWO ‘famous’ bull rides … when I was 18.

One thing about your school that you are most proud of?

  • Innovation in the face of adversity.
  • Developed Child Life Specialist track.
  • We are the absolute KINGS of short-term service learning abroad trips (e.g. China, Mexico, Romania, Nicaragua…)

What do you enjoy most about teaching?

Variety, opportunity, to get out and apply it to the world with peers at conferences, or students while serving in foreign countries and cultures.

A piece of advice for students in your school?

Join the student orgs, we have the BEST in the nation and awards to prove it!!! And … go on one of our diversity service learning trips. LIFE CHANGING!!!
