COVID-19 Testing

Do you have mild COVID-19 symptoms: runny nose, congestion, sore throat, mild cough, headache, body aches?*

  • Do not come to campus for class or work. 
  • Take an at-home COVID-19 antigen test.
    • Students: Test kits are available for FREE for UWSP students at the following locations (bring your student ID):
      • Student Health Service, 1st floor Delzell Hall, front desk during business hours (M-F, 8 a.m. - 12 p.m., 1 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
        • Campus Police, George Stien building (when Student Health Service is closed)
      • Residence Halls - available at the front desk

*If you have more severe symptoms: fever, severe sore throat, ear pain, severe cough, shortness of breath?

  • Students: Call Student Health Service (715-346-4646) to speak with a nurse and abe seen more urgently.
  • Employees: Contact your health care provider or seek testing at a testing site.
Test Results
  • If the test is positive, isolate yourself from others.  Notify close contacts.  For additional information see Test positive, now what? - Information on Coronavirus | UWSP.  Students: contact Student Health Service with any questions.
  • If test is negative, stay home if feeling sick.
  • If the at-home test is negative and you are still having symptoms 48 hours later
    • Students, contact Student Health Service (715-346-4646) to schedule an appointment.
    • Employees, contact your health care provider or seek testing at a testing site.
